10 Beautiful Pieces of Art in Downtown Rochester

With the nice weather we have had the past few days, I decided to explore downtown and find all the beautiful artwork. Being new to town, this was a great opportunity to learn where everything is. On my adventure, I found some beautiful pieces that I thought would brighten your Monday.

There is artwork everywhere downtown. Including on benches. Most of the time you walk by a bench and don't take in what is really on it. This beautiful bench can be easily overlooked if you aren't paying close attention. Many times we are on our phones or talking to someone and miss the small things that life has to offer us!

Most of us grew up had sidewalk chalk and spent countless hours outside enjoying ourselves. This brought back memories of the good old days as I walked down 3rd and took in the sights. An artist' was painting this design as I was on my journey this weekend. Who's excited to see what else they come up with?

Nothing says warm and welcoming like a beautiful storefront. I saw a lot of people smiling as they walked by this summer filled painting at Grand Rounds Brewing Co. I overheard a lady tell the person she was walking with that this painting reminds her of how great summers in Rochester are.

Not only is this a great advertising tool, but it also is tastefully done. This mural was a little outside downtown, but I had to include it because of how colorful it is. I even found a park nearby, so that might be a fun family adventure! Something tells me the Farmers Market is packed every weekend. Doesn't that make you want to go??

Here is the mural that sparked this whole blog. The lovely radio that greets me every morning as I walk into work! It's tastefully done and not hard to miss. Side note, there are a ton of fun pictures you can take in front of it.

The paintings at Hefe Rojo are amazing. My roommate was telling me that the artist free handed them on the wall. So not only can you enjoy supper at a cool downtown restaurant, but you can also take in some amazing art. They are super colorful and fun!

After finding all these amazing paintings, I noticed that most of the electrical boxes had fun designs on them! Downtown, you can find flowers, patterns and all kinds of different art that just makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Check out a few of them that I thought you might enjoy.

If you have some time in the next few weeks, I challenge to go downtown and try and find all the unique art that downtown Rochester has to offer. There's plenty to take in and enjoy!
