2021 Volleyball and Football Section Playoffs Broadcast Schedule
When late October strikes that means it is time for the volleyball and football section playoffs in Southeast Minnesota! We will be very busy covering many games across the area!
A New Format For Section Volleyball
With the change from three classes to four in Volleyball, another change for Section 1A and Section 1AA was the elimination of 'sub-section play. Each section was seeded from 1-16 in Section 1AA and 1-20 in Section 1A.
Pig-tail matches will be played Monday while 1st Round action will start on Thursday night in Southeast Minnesota, those will be hosted by the high seed. 3. Kenyon-Wanamingo
4. Spring Grove
5. Fillmore Central
The Top 5 seeds in Section 1AA include:
1. Cannon Falls
2. Zumbrota-Mazeppa
3. Caledonia
4. Lake City
5. Medford
Section Football Playoff's Start With Quarterfinal Action Tuesday Night
The Section Football playoffs will have the same format as we have seen in years past with quarterfinal action starting on Tuesday, October 26th and the Semifinals on Saturday, October 30th hosted by the high seed. The section finals will be at a neutral site with turf on Friday, November 5th.
