3-Year-Old Minnesotan Gets Parade to Celebrate Last Day of Chemo
3-year-old Mabel Franks of Prior Lake, MN has been battelling acute lymphoblastic leukemia since she was 14-months-old, according to KARE 11. The other day was a big day for her, it was Mabel's last day of chemo!
Unfortunately, she wasn't able to celebrate with a big party with friends and family as I'm sure everyone had hoped. But Mabel was still able to celebrate! KARE 11 reports that her last chemo treatment was in pill form so she took the pill while on video chat with family and they all celebrated.
Then, to make things even better, she got her own personal parade in her cul-de-sac! Decorated cars drove by, fire trucks, it was a big deal, and Mabel was grinning and waving the whole time.
