4-Year-Old Girl Killed In Mankato After A Tree Branch Lands On Tent
A 4-year-old girl was pronounced deceased after a tree branch fell on the tent she was sleeping in around 2:30 this morning according to the Mankato Department of Public Safety.
The release from the Department of Public Safety stated that:
At 2:30 a.m. this morning, Public Safety responded to the report of a tree branch that had fallen on an occupied tent in Land of Memories Park, 409 Amos Owen Lane. Officers located a 4-year-old girl with life-threatening injuries and began lifesaving measures. The child was transported to the local hospital and later pronounced deceased. Other family occupants in the tent were unharmed.
