The Vikings new home field has to be one of the coolest in the NFL.

But just what do you know about it?

Was it expensive to build, how many seats are in it, just a few of the questions that I asked. But don't worry, I have the answers. I did a little research, and Wikipedia and vikings.com gave me the answers I needed.

So you want to know what I know now, here you go.

The new stadium cost about $1.061 Billion.  Yes, Billion. But if you have seen the pictures of the stadium. Worth every penny of it.

The stadium itself can hold 66,200 people. Now I don't know if that includes the 131 executive suites, but that is a lot of people. And when the Super Bowl comes to Minnesota in 2018, it can be expanded to hold 73,000 people.

The size of the stadium, 1.6 Million Square Feet. An average house is maybe 3 or 4 thousand square feet. Picture that.

There are over 1,200 Flat screen TV's around the stadium. Which means no matter where you are , you can still enjoy the game.

US Bank stadium can host more events than any other large stadium in the world. Yes, The World. In addition to the Vikings home field. the stadium will host the NCAA Final Four in 2019. Also can host numerous concerts, high school sports and a ton of other sporting events.
