No, not superficial.  Super facial.  I generally don't blog about personal things but, ladies, I just had to share this with you.  Sit down, grab your glass of wine or cup of tea and let's talk facials. If you have never had one, you really need to treat yourself.  Not only is a facial good for your skin, but it is the ultimate experience in relaxation.

What happens during a facial?  My aesthetician, Nikole, works with gentle, experienced hands.  First, she washes my face.  Ok, that sounds strange but she knows how to deep clean and get out all the gunk.  Time for exfoliation.  While the exfoliator is doing its magic, I'm treated to a shoulder, arm and hand massage.  Heaven.  Time to remove the exfoliator.  Extractions of black heads if necessary. Warm towels on my face and shoulders.  Sigh.  Lotions and facial massage, especially around my tired eyes finish up the hour that went all too quickly.  Next time I'm booking 90 minutes and will add in a sugar foot scrub.  Trust me, gals, you owe it to yourself to book a facial.  Your skin will thank you for it and you'll feel refreshed and rejuvenated.  Go ahead - you know you want to!
