A well-known restaurant in Fountain will close its doors later this month.

Los Gables, a Mexican restaurant located in Foutain, Minnesota right off of Highway 52 will officially close its doors at 8 pm on Sunday, April 14th. The restaurant will honor any gift cards/certificates through Sunday the 14th according to its Facebook page.

This marks another restaurant that will close its doors in Southeast Minnesota this year. Plenty of restaurants have shut their doors in the past month like Cowboy Jacks and Ground Round. Rochester has also seen the re-opening of a Perkins, while Preston saw the re-opening of the Branding Iron and Harmony is getting a new cafe in BReaKeRs.

It is never great to see a local restaurant close, but the owners of Los Gables was thankful for the business over the years.

This statement is from said on their Facebook page "Thank you all for your business over the years. Most importantly if you walked through these doors a stranger you more than likely did not leave a stranger. Thank you for all the memories, laughter and friendships I’ve made throughout the years"
