Hey -- it’s Laura! Returned from my travels and residencies of the greater Midwest. I left in 2008 for the green grasses of Fargo, North Dakota. Seriously, there isn’t really much else but green grasses in North Dakota. Then I traveled to where it’s green and gold running everywhere you care to see, and even where you don’t care to see them…. GREEN BAY, WI! Yeah, I know, don’t start. Then I made it back to Minnesota, Southern Minnesota and spent a year in Rochester. MAYO CLINIC, anyone? Wow! Surprisingly I had never been to Rochester before in my life, and I really learned a lot about the MAYO. Rochester should probably be named Mayoland instead. You’d know why if you have spent any time in that town. Nice town, but common question is… “So, you working for the clinic?” I don’t think they realize that there are other places of employment. Now, after 9 years I have made it back home, full circle as they say.
