You may be noticing people riding orange bikes around downtown Rochester soon. It's all part of the "Nice Ride" bike sharing program, which is an effort to get more people riding bikes in Rochester.

The bikes will be for rent at two downtown locations to begin with, and Rochester's Park and Recreation Director, Paul Widman, talked more about the program Friday morning on KROC-AM.

It's not up and running just yet, but the bikes are being stored at the old Silver Lake fire station and will be available for rent soon at the Peace Plaza and People's Food Coop.

Paul is a regular guest on KROC-AM on the first Friday of the month. His next appearance will be August 8th at 8:40 a.m.
