Beth Fynbo had the chance to team with Lori Greiner from ABC's Shark Tank. Lori offered to negotiate a deal with the Munchkin company to manufacture and sell the Minnesota mom's Busy Baby Mat in exchange for 20% of the company.

Fynbo wasn't willing to give up that much. In the video above, you can watch her unsuccessfully negotiating with the shark.

Beth explained why she walked away without a deal on her company's Facebook page: "I just wasn’t willing to give up 18% of a company I’ve worked my butt off to build and give it to someone who was just going to set up a couple of meetings! So glad I stuck to my guns and still have full control of my company with my brother."

Fynbo told the Star Tribune that business is good - She said she packed 6,000 orders in the two days after the episode aired - which is more sales in two days than the company usually processes in six weeks. (You can watch the full episode here.)

If you aren't familiar with the Busy Baby Mat, her website describes it as "a placemat that adheres to any smooth, flat surface and has a proprietary tether system that allows you to attach the baby’s items to the mat. They are easy to use AND to clean. It’s all made from 100% food-grade, FDA-approved silicone. Plus, it's dishwasher safe. The mats roll up and fit easily in most diaper bags and purses."
