Byron Barn Fire Inflicts Thousands of Dollars in Damage
Byron, MN (KROC-AM News)- Firefighters from Byron and Rochester fought a barn fire Monday afternoon.

A Spokesman for the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says crews responded to a property in the 1,200 block of Frontier Rd. Southeast in rural Byron around 3:30 p.m. on reports of smoke coming from the structure. Officials say there were small tractors, a collection of lawn mowers, snowmobiles and other items inside of the barn.
No people or animals were harmed by the fire. At this time investigators don’t know how the fire started but said the cause of the blaze is not believed to be suspicious. The fire inflicted an estimated $200,000 in damage.
