The #2 seeded Caledonia Warriors battled early with the #7 seeded Dover-Eyota Eagles in the Section 1AA quarterfinals Monday night. The Warriors went on a 13-3 run to end the first half and eventually won 87-68.

The Warriors used dynamic scoring from Noah King, Sam Privet and Riley Gavin to take down the Eagles. King led all scorers with 21 while Gavin and Privet added 16 fro Caledonia.  The Warriors used a late push in the first half on that 13-3 run to take a 40-28 lead at the break.

The Eagles started to make their push back early in the second half, but every time Dover-Eyota started to make a run, the Warriors would answer with a big bucket of their own to push the Eagles back.

Caledonia did a great job of getting into the paint and getting second-chance points to secure the victory and advance to the Section Semifinals. Jack Studer led the way with 15 points for Dover-Eyota while Brady Glynn added 13. Brady Williams and Tyler Sechlimann added 12.
