The scoring started early for the Caledonia Warriors, as they went on to beat the Fillmore Central/Lanesboro Falcons 10-2 in Game 1 of the doubleheader.

Caledonia jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first and then added four more runs in the second. Not to forget the four-run fourth, which was capped off with three straight RBI singles from Mason Staggemeyer, Goergen and Evan Denstad.

Casey Storlie was fantastic at the plate, going 3-for-3 with 3 RBI and 3 runs scored. He wasn't the only Warrior to find success at the plate, as Goergen went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI and a run scored to help pace the offense.

The Falcons were unable to get anything going against Warriors starter Tyler Wiebke until the fifth when Logan Corson knocked in Carson Schwichtenberg with an RBI single to make the score 10-1. Corson then stole second and third before scoring on an error.

The Warriors offense was the story, as they continued to knock around the baseball in the Game 1 win.
