Deadliest Shooting in US History at Las Vegas Music Festival
The deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history occurred last night at a country music festival in Las Vegas.
CNN reports: At least 50 people were killed and more than 200 injured in a shooting outside the Mandalay Bay Resort on the Las Vegas Strip during a music festival on Sunday night. It is the deadliest mass shooting in US history. Shots were fired from the 32nd floor of the resort, according to police. Country singer Jason Aldean was performing at the time.
The gunman has been identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, a local resident- he was shot and killed.Officials did not immediately reveal a motive.
A Fox News report says Paddock fired down onto the crowd from his 32nd floor Mandalay Bay Hotel room.
