Devon Krueger and Allie Thompson – A True Love Story

If my calculations are correct, in a mere 51 days, Devon Krueger will be a married man.  Wow.  Right now, Devon is on the road to Canada to pick up his fiancé, Allie Thompson, and bring her home to Minnesota.  No, Allie isn't a mail-order bride and Devon didn't meet her on Match.com!

Allie is a Rushford native; her parents and siblings still live in Rushford.  She has been working in Canada as a nanny. Their love story began at a high school sports game - imagine that!  Devon was calling the game for KFIL and Allie was in the stands watching her brothers play for Rushford-Peterson.  They met and the rest is history.  A long-distance romance isn't easy, but they have survived and are now ready to take the big step of marriage on September 17, 2016.

Everyone uses the expression "they're a perfect match", but in this case, I believe it to be true.  Allie is fun, sweet, and bubbly, and a very talented photographer.  Her shots of her brothers playing sports for R-P could rival any professional.  She isn't afraid to go head-to-head with Devon's smart remarks!  She dishes it right back to him - she can hold her own with Devon's wit!  And she loves sports; a huge bonus for a woman who wants to share her life with Devon!

My heart is filled with happiness for Devon and Allie and I cannot wait to witness their marriage ceremony in September.  I wish them a lifetime of happiness.  Congratulations, Devon and Allie!
