Elderly Woman Dragged Across Western Minnesota Farm Field

Wilmar, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in western Minnesota say an elderly woman survived being dragged about 400 yards by a piece of farm equipment.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office says the 79-year-old woman was airlifted from the accident scene, but her injuries were described as non-life threatening. A news release indicates she became entangled in a piece of farm machinery and was then dragged across a field.
The incident was reported around 4:15 PM at a farm near Atwater, which is located about halfway between Litchfield and Wilmar. The woman's name has not been released.
