The Minnesota Department of Health confirmed one more positive case of coronavirus disease in Fillmore County.

According to Fillmore County Public Health, as of April 2nd, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 now sits at nine. The latest confirmed case involves a man in his 50s. Fillmore County Public Health is working with MDH and health care partners to address the needs of these patients and provide guidance to others who may have had contact with them.

The confirmed cases in Fillmore County include a female between the ages of 10-19, a female in her 20s, another in her 40s and one more in her 60s. There are also two males in their 40s, one male in his 50s, and two males in their 60s.

Minnesota now has 689 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and have completed 21,192 tests as of 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
