Getting Ready for “Christmas at Mayowood”

It may be early November but dozens of Rochesterites were busy yesterday getting ready for Christmas - at Mayowood.

Organizations, businesses and individuals sponsor trees and other decorative settings for use during the upcoming and annual " Christmas at Mayowood " fundraiser organized by the Olmsted County History Center.

The trees and settings turn the rooms in the historic mansion into a " Christmas Wonderland " and those who take the tour this year will also see the recent significant improvements made to the former Mayo family home.
