Golden Gophers Face The Rams on Saturday

Submitted by Ben Aberg.  The Golden Gophers are back in action Saturday on Cool 104! After an early bye week, the 2-0 Gophers will look to stay undefeated as they host the 2-1 Colorado State Rams at TCF Bank Stadium. The Gophers, undefeated in their 2016 campaign, are also an undefeated 3-0 in their games against Colorado State. Last year, the Gophers snapped the Ram’s win streak at 10 games with a 23-20 overtime victory. The Gophers will look to get to 3-0 on the season as they start a 10-week stretch of football after their week off. The Gophers will be honoring their 1941 National Championship team this weekend as well, and they hope to celebrate with a big W.  So make sure to tune in Saturday for a 10 AM pregame and 11 AM kickoff on your Good Time Oldies Station Cool 104!
