It should be a great season of Big Ten Basketball, with six teams ranked in the AP Top 25 including #3 Iowa, #4 Michigan State, #6 Illinois, #13 Wisconsin, #21 Rutgers, and #22 Ohio State.
The Gophers will have their hands full every night on their Big Ten schedule and will have to pull off some upsets if they want to return to the NCAA Tournament. Marcus Carr is the team leader, averaging 23.8 points per game and dishing out 6.2 assists per game. Austin native Both Gach has been a great transfer addition in the early going, averaging just over 15 points and just over six rebounds per game.
The Gophers like to get up and down the floor, and they will have a huge test on the road on Tuesday night.
