Guilty Plea in Rochester Child Sex Abuse Case
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has pleaded guilty in a child sex abuse case.
Court records show 44-year-old Bradley Zillgitt entered into a plea agreement last Friday in Olmsted County Court and admitted to a second-degree criminal sexual conduct charge. He was accused of sexually abusing and assaulting a young child over a 5-year period beginning in 2001 when the victim was 11 or 12-years old. The complaint also indicated Zillgitt may have used a cellphone to send lewd photographs to the victim while he was in the service and deployed overseas.
Through the plea deal, first and third-degree criminal sexual conduct charges and an indecent exposure count are being dismissed.
Zillgitt is scheduled to be sentenced on December 13th.
