Meet Gus, The New Addition To The Duluth Police Department
It's hard to beat the satisfaction of hitting a goal after going through rigorous training that both taxes the body and mind. That sense of satisfaction was recently felt by a new member of the Duluth Police Department and his partner, who trained with him.
Duluth Police shared the exciting news this week through their Facebook page that they have proudly welcomed the fourth member of their K9 Division, K9 Gus.
They added that Officer Nate Abbott and K9 Gus began K9 School on February 12th and graduated on May 23rd. Their first day on the job together was on Monday, May 27. Chief Mike Ceynowa says this addition to their K9 Division is beneficial to keeping the community and their officers safe.
