The Minnesota State Patrol is highlighting the rescue efforts of its department and the Minnesota Air Rescue Team. A hunter was lost for over 12 hours in the woods in rural Mille Lacs County on January 3rd.

They posted the video to their social media pages yesterday, showing the thermal camera images of the rescue efforts. The Minnesota State Patrol pilot used his helicopter to find the missing hunter within minutes. From there, the Minnesota Air Rescue Team exited the helicopter and walked through deep snow to reach the lost hunter.

The rescue took place in rural Mille Lacs County at around 8:45 PM, judging by the time on the helicopter camera.

You can see the hunter waving at the helicopter. When I first saw this image, I thought it was a Bigfoot photo. He kinda looks like Sasquatch as he's trudging through the snow. (The comment section agrees with me!)
