Will Northern Minnesota Dodge Its First Major Snowstorm In November?
Tis the season in northern Minnesota. By that I mean it is the time of the year where we could get hit with snow at basically any point. Snow on Halloween is not unheard of. In fact, it happened last year.
By November, we are typically covered in snow. It seems to be a thing with Mother Nature that there has to be a major snowstorm on Thanksgiving weekend.

You may not believe in the Old Farmer's Almanac and its methodology but you can't deny it is fun to see what they are predicting for the month ahead. It can't hurt to look, right?
I did just that to see if we were going to see our first snowstorm of the season in November or if we might skate by unscathed for once! Let's take a look while we're feeling brave.

While we will see snow next month as usual, the Old Farmer's Almanac is not predicting a snowstorm. That means we might not see our first major snowstorm of the season until December.

Last year, they did predict the first snowstorm of the winter season for November and I am surprised that doesn't seem to be in the cards for the Northland - for now. Of course, we have to take this with a grain of salt.
