Target is making a big change! If you are a frequent Target shopper like me, you may notice this. I try not to use a cart because that means I will buy more things but...I always leave with at least one cart full of stuff.

The Minnesota-based business just announced the change this month, and like I said, you probably would notice if you are a big Target shopper.

The change? New carts! Target officials say they are rolling out new and reimagined shopping carts in their stores (no pun intended).

However, this change is so much more than aesthetics. This new design will be coming soon to a Target near you in the future. However, not every single store will get the upgraded carts.

Target Rolls Out New Shopping Cart Design - Here's Why

According to a statement from Target, this new redesign started back in 2020. The new shopping carts feature ergonomic handles, which allow for smoother maneuverability. There is also more basket space so you can carry more in your cart.

There is also a deeper and more comfortable child seat, which is also very secure. There will be larger cupholders so you can hold any type of beverage while you are getting what you need from the store.

Believe it or not, the changes are also sustainable. The new design has a lifespan of up to a decade and is made much sturdier. It is also much better for the environment, as the carts are fully recyclable.
