People throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin experienced mild weather at the beginning of last week, but things are changing now in an extreme way.

On Saturday, the National Weather Service issued a series of Cold Weather Advisories to prepare over 50 cities for bitterly cold weather that will be arriving this weekend and last into the start of next week.

They urge everyone under a Cold Weather Advisory to use caution while traveling outside and be sure to wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. You should also make sure you have a winter survival kit in your vehicle.
