90s Flashback: Meet Bill Nye the Science Guy in Minnesota

As a 80s kid, Mr. Wizard was the TV science guy, but for kids of the 90s, it was Bill Nye the Science Guy, and here's how you can see and meet him when he's in Minnesota.

The trained mechanical engineer, turned TV presenter, rose to fame with his popular syndicated show 'Bill Nye the Science Guy' which aired for 6 seasons between 1993 and 1999. Wearing his lab coat and bow tie, the tall, slender, nerdy looking scientist with a ton of energy taught millions of kids about a variety of science subjects, but these days his focus is on only one subject.

'The End is Nye' is a new live show that features Bill Nye on a new mission to "help rescue Earth’s inhabitants from climate change…with science!" The live show features a nostalgic look back at his career as "The Science Guy" and a look at the current state of climate change and how new scientific advancements can help save us from what he calls "the impending doom of climate change".

The live show is named after his latest TV Series that airs on SYFY, the show is an apocalyptic look into natural and unnatural global disasters. 'The End is Nye', the live show, made 6 stops in 2023 across the United States and Canada, and his only scheduled stop for 2024, so far, is in Minnesota.

'The End is Nye'  will be live at the State Theatre in Minneapolis Saturday, October 5 at 7:30 PM, tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, April 26 at 10 AM. Tickets range in price from $64.50 to $104.50, and a VIP package is available for $254.50. The VIP package includes a premium seat for the show, an aftershow meet and greet with photo op, and a signed copy of his book 'Everything all at Once'.
