While those can be great resources for job seekers, there is also something nice about talking face to face with potential employers before you even apply, and that's why we still have job fairs.

Visiting a job fair will give you the opportunity to have conversations and get a better vibe of a company before you decide to apply.

CareerForce Duluth and Duluth Workforce Development are hosting a job fair on Wednesday, May 1st from 2PM-5PM which will feature employers around the Twin Ports who are hiring.  Job seekers will also get to chat with the hosting organizations about services to help them with job hunting.

Featured employers at the fair will include; Lake Superior ZooAAAUpper Lakes Foods, Holiday Inn, the Suites Hotel, Sevita Health, Insomnia Cookies, and Country Inn and Suites.

The job fair is free to attend, they will also provide you with parking vouchers for the ramp.  It's suggested you bring your resume and that you are prepared to speak with recruiters on the spot for potential job and career opportunities.

If you do need some help with building your resume, they encourage you to visit the Career Lab prior to the event for assistance with that, and the lab is open from 10AM-4PM.  The event will be held at CareerForce Duluth located at 402 West 1st Street.
