My little dog Gloria came into my life after losing my Great Dane Sampson. He was my dog soul mate, and I was just devastated when I lost him.

Like most people, I didn't think I ever wanted to get another dog. The pain of losing him was too much.

WHO IS THAT?!

One day, my coworker Cindy brought a little brown dog with a white nose to work. She was fostering and caring for this dog, who had lost its owner. Gloria's owner must have loved her so much. When I saw her, I thought...Wow...she is a cute little thing.

Now, years later, Gloria has become my right-hand girl. She was seven years old when I adopted her, and is still going strong. She's won my heart.

I adopted her from Grey Face Rescue, a nonprofit organization that rescues senior dogs.

10TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION COMING UP

Grey Face Rescue will be celebrating its 10th anniversary, and it's time for us all to celebrate.

A Decade of Dogs party will be held at Pantown Brewing Company on Saturday, October 11th, 2025. The event will go from Noon to 3 pm. There will be:

• Senior Animals to meet and adopt
