If you are a fan of the outdoors, and like to stay up to date with what's happening, and enjoy hearing stories of Minnesota's vast outdoors, you probably have watched Minnesota Bound. The popular outdoors television show has aired locally on KARE 11 for years, but that's about to change in 2026. Here's where you'll be able to find Minnesota Bound after the calendar turns over.

Changing The Channel In 2026

Minnesota Bound will now be found on KSTP-TV Channel 5, or its sibling station Channel 45. The hosts of the show Bill Sherck and Laura Schara, made the announcement of the change on social media yesterday, marking the end of a 30-year run on Twin Cities NBC Affiliate KARE-11.

The show, which started with just Laura's dad, Ron, hosting, has told countless tales of Minnesotans enjoying the outdoors through the medium of broadcast television. Some of my earliest memories of seeing huge fish being caught were from watching Minnesota Bound as I grew up in the Twin Cities.

When Will The Show Air On KSTP and KSTC?

You will be able to catch episodes of Minnesota Bound on Channel 5, KSTP, Sunday nights at 11pm, and again the following Saturday at 9:30pm on Channel 45, KSTC. You can also watch past episodes online, through the Minnesota Bound website.

Do I Have KSTP or KSTC On My Television?

If you aren't sure if you get KSTP or KSTC, you can run a channel scan on your TV, as many have built in digital tuners, for 'over the air' broadcast channels. Open up your menu on the TV, go to settings, and there is usually a channels option or a auto-scan option that you can click and run.
