For people driving along Highway 23 between St. Cloud and Foley, you've watched a building pop up over the last several months, and it wasn't a small project either. That building that you see off to the North of 23, is a winery, and it seems like only a matter of weeks before it opens up...fingers crossed!

Northern Hollow Winery posted some updates to social media earlier this week. While there isn't an opening date yet, the pictures prove that it won't be long...hopefully.

Right now it seems like paperwork is what is slowing things down, so let's hope after the 4th of July holiday we can get some sort of update as to possible WHEN the winery will open, as I've been waiting patiently for the last 4 months!

Making A Move From Grasston To Foley

The winery, which began when owner Jim Truehart received a winemaking gift from his wife, has grown into a business that has garnered serious attention from those who appreciate a great glass of wine.

Northern Hollow won back-to-back Governor Cups in 2017 and 2018, which is the highest award a winemaker can win in Minnesota. It was also historic as it was the first winery in Minnesota to win back-to-back Governor Cups.

The winery was previously located in Grasston, in Pine County, until the Truehearts decided to move the winery to its current location, just outside Foley on Highway 23.

Summertime Outdoors With A Glass Of Wine

There is something about being outdoors on a summer evening with a glass of wine. Just being able to hear the birds chirping, with a light breeze, while you slowly sip your cares away, makes living here so much better.
