
St. Charles Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on HWY 14 Identified
(UPDATE) - The State Patrol says a 52-year-old man from St. Charles was the victim of the fatal crash this morning that closed down a section of Highway 14 east of Rochester.
According to the crash report, Robert Warren Jackley was westbound on Highway 14 on a motorcycle and collided with an eastbound pickup truck around 10:50 AM at the intersection of Highway 14 and Chester Avenue Southeast in Chester.
The pickup was driven by a 53-year-old man from Maple Grove. He was identified as Daniel Lee Dittes. The crash report states alcohol was not involved.
Chester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is reporting that one person was killed in a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck just east of Rochester this morning.
The preliminary report on the fatal incident indicates the motorcycle was traveling west on Highway 14 when it collided with an eastbound pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 14 and Chester Avenue in Chester. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deadly collision was reported around 11 a.m. and prompted the closure of Highway 14 between 50th Avenue Southeast and Highway 42 in Eyota. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the highway has been reopened.

The name of the deceased motorcyclist and other details about the crash have not been released.
