Mantorville, MN (KROC-AM News) - The search for a missing Mantorville teenager has been called off.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension today canceled a missing person alert that was issued last month for 17-year-old Kierra McQuire. The alert was posted on July 26, five days after the teenager was last seen leaving her home in Mantorville.

The alert was issued at the request of the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, which indicated that Kierra may have been headed toward the Twin Cities area.

According to the Minnesota BCA, Dodge County authorities have reported that she has been located and is safe. The Sheriff's Office also issued a thank you to everyone who assisted in locating Kierra and for sharing information.
