
Rochester Gas Station Hit By Armed Robbery Over The Weekend
A man armed with a handgun entered the store, demanded money then fled with cash from the register, according to the police report.
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rochester gas station was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend.

Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says responding officers found evidence of a firearm being present during the robbery.
Officers were sent to the convenience store around 9:45 Saturday night.

Police Searching for Suspect Following Armed Robbery of Apollo Gas Station in Southeast Rochester
The armed robbery occurred at the Marathon Apollo gas station located at 1025 4th Street SE.
A man armed with a handgun entered the store, demanded money then fled with cash from the register, according to the police report. The amount of cash stolen from the business has not been disclosed.
Grayson says a K-9 and drone responded to the scene but the suspect was not captured. Police did not indicate whether or not a description of the suspect is available.
Officers found a loaded handgun magazine and a bullet in the roadway near the scene, the police report says.
The armed robbery is under investigation.
