Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Another person is facing bribery and other felony charges in connection with an alleged attack on a self-described “middleman” involved in drug transactions.

The charges against 26-year-old Keji Loro Jubek stem from an incident that occurred on the night of February 5. Criminal complaints filed in Olmsted County Court detail the Rochester police investigation into an attack on a man who told investigators he served as a middleman on behalf of 26-year-old Crestopher Komakic Joseph Lon Ogak.

Taken to Rochester Home and Assaulted

The criminal complaint says the victim told police he was given $1,500 to purchase oxycodone but was unable to obtain the drugs and arranged to meet Ogak at a Rochester gas station to return the money. Instead, the victim reported he was kidnapped by Ogak and taken to his home, where a group of people assaulted him and robbed him of his smartwatch, phone, and hat, along with the $1,500 he had planned to return.

Police later executed a search warrant at Ogak's home, where they reported finding blood evidence and K-57 pills.

Bribery Allegations

It is alleged that Jubek was among the associates of Ogak who were instructed to contact the victim and convince him to recant his statement to police about the alleged abduction, assault, and robbery. Jubek is also accused of being at Ogak's home when the victim was assaulted.

Incriminating Text Messages and Phone Calls

Evidence listed in the complaint includes text messages and outgoing phone calls from the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center made by Ogak. The court document says Jubek also admitted taking the victim's phone and withdrawing $150 from the victim's account through a cash app.
