Rochester Man Sentenced For Repeatedly Sexually Assaulting Teen
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Monday was sentencing day for a Rochester man accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
The criminal complaint states that 44-year-old Levi Michael Vivier was arrested in October 2024 following an investigation by the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office. The court document says the investigation began two months earlier after a 15-year-old girl reported the sexual assaults.
The Investigation Began in August of Last Year
The victim told investigators that Vivier first assaulted her at his northeast Rochester residence in February 2024. In her statement, the girl indicated that the assaults continued through mid-August of last year. She estimated that she was assaulted as many as 10 times, although she told investigators “they blur together.”

The Victim Reported That Vivier Had a Gun and Threatened to Shoot Her
According to the criminal complaint, the girl also told investigators that during the first assault, Vivier displayed a gun and told her he would shoot her if she said anything about the assault to anyone. The victim stated that “she was operating under the constant threat that Vivier would shoot her and kill her.” She also indicated that Vivier threatened her with graphic descriptions of how he would dispose of her body if she reported the assaults.
A Plea Agreement Was Reached in the Case in July
Vivier was charged in Olmsted County Court with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and an aggravated count of witness tampering. In July, he entered into a plea agreement and admitted to a second-degree criminal sexual conduct charge.
Vivier was sentenced earlier today to 7½ years in prison.
