
Slippery Conditions Reported at Site of Injury Crash in Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A motorist was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital this morning following a crash on a slippery section of Highway 52 in Rochester.
The State Patrol says the incident was reported around 10:20 a.m. on southbound Highway 52 just south of the 37th Street Northwest interchange. The preliminary crash report indicates a pickup truck was traveling south when the driver apparently lost control and collided with the median wall.
The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was identified as 69-year-old Allen Kimber of Circle Pines. He was transported to the hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

The State Patrol reports that he was wearing a seat belt and alcohol was not involved. Snow and ice was present on the roadway.
