Southern Minnesota Man Killed in Fiery Motorcycle Crash
Faribault, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rice County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that occurred late Thursday night near Faribault.
A news release says deputies responded around 11:50 PM to a report of a motorcycle crash on Cannon Lake Trail between Wells Lake and Cannon Lake just west of Faribault. They discovered that a motorcycle and crashed into some trees and had caught on fire.
The victim was identified as 30-year-old Dalton Heyer of Faribault. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Rice County Sheriff's Office says the incident remains under investigation and anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 507-334-4391.
The Faribault Fire Department and North Ambulance also responded to the scene of the crash.
