St. Paul Police – One Dead After Officer-Involved Shooting
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - Investigators from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension responded Saturday afternoon to an officer-involved shooting in St. Paul that resulted in the death of a person.
Very little information has been released, but the St. Paul Police Department has reported that the shooting occurred around 1:45 PM at the intersection of Bay Street and Watson Avenue, which is a mainly residential area near the Mississippi River about 2 miles northeast of Fort Snelling.
St. Paul police say one person died, but officials have not said if the person was shot by police. The name of the deceased has not been released.
A statement from the St. Paul Police Department indicates no officers were injured.
