Great thrillers and dramas have unexpected plot twists that you never see coming.

That also may be the case for a New Berlin theater enthusiasts home that is currently being marketed as being "perfect for both relaxation and dramatic flair."

Not What You're Expecting From The Outside

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home is fairly unassuming from the street. It looks like most other quaint homes you'd find in a quiet Wisconsin neighborhood.

Inside, however, it's a much different story.

The showstopper of the home is its basement that is designed to look like a small theater complete with an antique projector, stage and movie screen.

"Everybody who comes in, they're like 'wow,'" John Dolphin, the home's current owner, told Milwaukee's CBS 58. "They can't believe it because it looks like a simple ranch."

Inside Look At Home's Unique Basement Theater

The home, which was originally built in 1969, is currently listed for just under $425,000. At least you have the option of hosting movie nights and local theater productions if you're worried about being able to afford that price tag.

"The stage is set, and the curtain rises - the show must go on," the property's listing reads. "Will you be the next producer?"

You'll likely never see another basement like this. Here is a look inside this unique New Berlin, Wisconsin home.
