Jeffrey Hess Wins Dubuque’s Light Up the Tri-States 2023: Plus Local Holiday Light Displays!

Each year as we "Light Up The Tri-States" it's fun to reflect on the true meaning of the season. It's a time to spend with family and friends. A chance to give freely of yourself and talents. And an opportunity to spend time with those that are alone or feeling lonely. Christmas is all these things and more. In fact, the lights help us remember that even when it's very dark; beautiful things can come shinning out of that same darkness.

And since it's the "most wonderful time of the year," we figured we'd make someone else's wallet a little fatter this holiday thanks to our friends at ImOn Communications. The people have shared their photos of the most creative, most beautiful, and most breathtaking holiday displays.

Maybe they lugged all 12 crates of lights out of the basement and blanketed the entire house. Maybe they rented some heavy equipment to decorate the towering pine tree in the front yard. Maybe there's a life-size replica of Santa's sleigh shining brighter than a Vegas casino in front of their business.
