Be the Change: Help Faribault Kids Grow Reading Skills
You can help change the lives of Faribault elementary school children with just an hour a week of your time helping them to improve their reading skills.
Reading Partners Minnesota has expanded their program from the Twin Cities to now include Jefferson and Lincoln Elementary Schools in Faribault, and the more volunteers, the more kids that get help.
Reading Partners has 25 years of success helping elementary school children achieve the confidence that comes from improved reading skills, and this is year number one in Faribault.
The goal in Faribault is to find 100 volunteers to commit to tutoring a child in reading for just one hour a week. The difference it makes is simply amazing. If you choose to volunteer, you will work with the same child throughout the entire school year, and you'll be able to see their growth and improvement firsthand.
No Experience Needed
You don't need to be a teacher, just a caring adult willing to spend an hour a week with a Faribault elementary student helping them with reading. Be forewarned, you'll likely have a lot of fun too! Full-time, on-site staff will be on hand at each school to support tutors.
This is such a great program. Kids are so excited to get started. They are coming by the Reading Centers at Jefferson and Lincoln Elementary Schools in Faribault asking when they get to start.
