The Northfield Raiders boys and girls hockey teams are ranked among Minnesota high school elite in the latest Let's Play Hockey rankings presented by Tradition Companies.

Northfield boys are #6 in Class A, Raiders girls #19 in Class AA.

The Waseca Blue Jays entered the Class A boys rankings at #20, Rochester Lourdes boys are #17 in the same class. Mankato West from the Big Nine Conference received votes but did not enter the Top 20.

Among Class A girls teams defending state champions Dodge County is #4, Big Nine Conference squads Mankato East and Albert Lea are rated #6 and #14 respectively.

The Minnesota River Bulldogs moved from #10 to #8 in Class A girls rankings.  Minnesota River includes Tri-City United,( Montgomery-Lonsdale-Lecenter) .LeSueur-Henderson, Cleveland, St. Peter, and Belle Plaine schools.

Class AA boys have four South Suburban teams ranked in the Top 20 and Prior Lake included among others receiving votes.  Shakopee is #4, Rosemount is #10, Lakeville South is #14, and Farmington is #19.
