Creating Hope 4 Cambodia Sale in Rochester, Minnesota Has Raised Over $150,000 for Kids
Once a year, for a few hours on a Saturday, people rush through a gym to buy handmade crafts and baked goods to help raise money for kids to stay in school. And to give you an idea of how fast this sale is - a few years ago, over $20,000 was raised in just 4 hours. Yes, 4 hours!
The reason why this sale is so important is because of the kids it is helping on the other side of the world.
Cambodia has a horrific reputation for child trafficking. For about $300 a year, a child has a chance at an education in Cambodia, which helps them stay out of the brothels in those areas.
