This ‘secret’ bar quietly opened last year and quickly became a favorite among those who discovered it. It is the perfect spot for a chill night with friends or family.

This Secret Bar Just Became Rochester’s Best New Spot
The best new bar in town is located underneath Our Paladar restaurant, which is located across from the Government Center.
Our Paladar opened in 2023, and their website explains, "A Paladar refers to the chef-run restaurants that first came about in Cuba in the early 1990s." The hidden bar, Palmetto Room, also features a Cuban-inspired theme.

Palmetto Room specializes in rum drinks. Their menu includes a selection of cocktails and small plates. The bar is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Guests enjoy Happy Hour prices from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
