Thinking of stopping at a Minnesota Panera for lunch and a little pick me up today? If so, you may see that a popular drink is no longer on the menu.

I say "may" because they've announced that they will stop selling it nationwide, but at last check Wednesday morning, the drink was still available on their website.

They made the announcement yesterday and several news articles are reporting it's being discontinued because it's at the center of two wrongful death lawsuits.

There is a disclaimer on their website, but it's unclear when it was added: "Naturally flavored and plant based Charged Sips contain contain 155-302mg of CAFFEINE. Consume in moderation. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR children, people sensitive to caffeine, pregnant or nursing women."

According to a Mayo Clinic article, up to 400 milligrams of caffeine a day is considered safe for most adults. However, people's sensitivity to caffeine varies.

It sounds like they are looking at a revamp of their drink menu all together and focusing on new stuff they think their customers will like, ranging from exciting, on-trend flavors, to low-sugar and low-caffeine options, including a new Blueberry Lavender Lemonade.
