If you're looking for love, and you're looking to be on TV, you have your chance right now here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Reality TV shows have been a thing now for several decades. And as more and more platforms are looking for content, so, too, does the chance to appear ON some of these reality shows.

Minnesota has already been home to several home improvement shows, and even a new series that's based here in the North Star State. Several cast members of the Bachelor and the Bachelorette have been from the Bold North. Even the current season of the CBS show, Survivor, has featured two Minnesota natives.

But now comes word that producers with Kinetic Content Casting are looking for participants from the Gopher State (Minneapolis and St. Paul, specifically, along with Washington, DC and Denver) to appear on the Netflix show, Love Is Blind. The show is currently getting ready to air its fourth season, which was filmed in Seattle (Those new episodes drop on April 7th).

Here's how Netflix describes Love Is Blind:

Nick and Vanessa Lachey host this social experiment where single men and women look for love and get engaged, all before meeting in person. The much-loved unscripted series garnered two Emmy nominations including one for Outstanding Structured Reality Program.

It works like this: Love Is Blind cast members date sit in 'pods' where they form connections and have conversations-- all without being unable to see each other. (That'd be the 'blind' part.)

The only time the participants get to see each other is if they get engaged. They then meet face-to-face, and the show follows along as they start planning and heading toward their wedding day.

Love Is Blind has already produced three seasons for Netflix, and Axios Twin Cities notes that while there have been 17 couples that became engaged, only four are still together.
