Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams just took on one of the hottest challenges on the internet as he was a guest on Hot Ones with Sean Evans.

Evans, a Chicago-area native, had Williams on to talk about Bears football and try some very hot wings.

No stranger to hot stuff, Williams talked about taking on the One Chip Challenge and eating ghost peppers as a team punishment.

Bears QB Tackles Playoffs, Madden Cover, and Da Bomb

This year’s Madden NFL cover star also talked about some of his favorite moments in football, including last season’s playoff heartbreak against the Rams. Williams said playing in the inclement weather was like “turning the weather up” in Madden.

In between bites of increasingly hot wings, Williams and Evans chatted about football terminology and what the Bears star quarterback has done in order to get better.

Williams seemed to be handling the spiciness of the wings for most of the interview until he was stopped in his tracks by a wing coated in a hot sauce called Da Bomb. His eyes were watering, and he had a tough time answering the question, saying it felt like he was “breathing Da Bomb.”
