Great Rockford Debate: What School Subject Gets The Green Folder?
I will always stand by this, and I will die on this hill: the green folder belongs to science.
Ther is simply no changing my mind.
Think back to grade school, you know, the good ol' days. We all color-coordinated our school subjects by folders, right? If you didn't do this, not sure how you survived all those years in school.
When I would organize my classes every year, I made sure to put the same folder colors to certain school subjects every time. It has never changed, not even the older I got!

When I think of a green folder, I immediately think of the Earth, plants, the environment, nature.. all things that somehow lead right back to science. Green just has science class energy. Period.
Apparently, a lot of Rockford agrees with me because when we asked on Facebook which school subject screams "green folder," the overwhelming vibe was science.

What a lot of people were agreeing with on Facebook:
"Science green, math red, history blue, English yellow" - Shannon R.
"Science was green, Math was red, Social studies/history was blue, Language arts/English was purple or yellow" - Anna N.
But then someone made the argument that science should actually be blue because of the giant bodies of water covering Earth. I understood the logic, sure.
Oceans.
Water.
Blue.

That's a pretty solid argument, but if we're talking about gloves, maps and bodies of water, I'm giving blue to social studies. Every time.
Now, let's get into the rest of the folder hierarchy because I apparently have strong feelings about something I haven't even thought about since middle school.
Red is math.
Yellow is language arts.
Blue is social studies.
Green is science.
Based on what Rockford said on Facebook, I'm pretty spot on.
Now, I need to know: what color folder do you associate with a green folder?
