To the Rockford driver who nearly ran me off the road, what's your problem?

Rockford drivers have been getting pretty reckless on the road over the past year.  Don't know what's in the air, but I'm not feelin' it.

I've never had road rage, ever.  There's not a raging bone in my body and I'm so glad staying calm is in my blood with all the horrible drivers around town.

You know how the lanes get extremely narrow when you're headed Westbound past E State and Fairview?  Always gives me anxiety driving in the right lane because one bump, pothole, or swerve and you're done for.

Well, I nearly had a heart attack after a driver, to my left, decided to switch lanes without giving any notice... or room for me to brake accordingly.

To The Rockford Driver Who Cut Me Off Near E State & Prospect

It's easy to forget that we share the road with other drivers.  I get it, I do.

Your quick lane change made me nervoussss, though.

You didn't signal.

You didn't give any space between me and you.

You didn't even speed up to avoid me rear-ending you.

I almost ate the curb when I had to unexpectedly hit my brakes.

What's the deal?!

He carried on like he wasn't a problem.  Well, I'm here to say you stressed me out!!

Again, I don't get road rage so I will never honk, give you the finger, or pull up next to you and throw something at your car.  I will write about my frustration, though!

Rockford is already full of incredibly bad drivers, hence the new one-lane roundabout we got on Auburn and Main!  Let's not add to the chaos on the road.

Drive responsibly, be vigilant, and don't cut people off.  Period!
